In addition to PTA events throughout the year, you can help support the school every day. Below are some opportunities to donate money to the school with your everyday shopping and activities.
eScrip
This is the easiest way to help raise money for our school. It is free for all donors who register for the program and participants do not need to live in Eugene or even Oregon to be earning money for the school. Encourage your friends, neighbors and relatives to support Edgewood this way. The school ID number is 7431429.
How it Works
Register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program.
Participating merchants will make contributions to Edgewood, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered. There are no receipts to collect, no vouchers or certificates to buy, no hassles for you and every purchase counts.
Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child’s behalf!

Register the numbers of your most used grocery loyalty cards, credit cards, and debit/ATM cards.
Remember your password and get onto eScrip at least twice a year to review and update your file.
New Program: eScrip Online Shopping Mall’s “AutoEARN“ webapp is free and can help you earn contributions for purchases at stores you know and trust. You pay exactly the same as you would normally shopping online but also receive an additional contribution.
Box Tops for Education
Back-to-school shopping inevitably means an opportunity to clip and submit Box Tops to earn free money for Edgewood. Edgewood’s Box Tops Coordinator collects all the Box Tops and sends them in so Edgewood can get cash. Checks are mailed to schools twice a year.
There is a Box Tops collection box in front of the school secretary’s desk in the office. Drop them in there, or send them in an envelope to school with your child to give to his/her teacher.
Edgewood has earned anywhere from $300 to $1,300 a year from Box Tops for Education. Help us make it the best earning year this year!
You will be surprised by how many of the products you or your neighbors and family use every day that can earn Edgewood a 10¢ each donation.

SeQuential
Biofuels is a local gas station that provides fuel and food for all types if cars. You merely need to inform the attendant of your Edgewood affiliation and they will log the sale to our school for donation credit. Sequential donates .5 cents per gallon and 5 percent from store purchases if customers mention Edgewood. The stations are located at 86714 McVay Hwy and 1695 W. 18th Ave. Visit www.sqbiofuels.com for more information.
Target
Target REDcard owners can designate Edgewood for online and in-store purchases. The Target Redcard allows cardholders to save 5 percent every time they use it at Target.
Office Depot
Office Depot has a list of Eugene schools for online and in-store purchases and you can designate Edgewood at the point of sale.
Amazon Smile
AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support Edgewood Community PTA every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to the Edgewood PTA.
The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5 percent of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases. The purchase price is the amount paid for the item minus any rebates and excluding shipping and handling, gift-wrapping fees, taxes, or service charges.
