Talent Show Tryouts Wednesday and Thursday of this week!
Thank you to everyone who has submitted an entry for the Edgewood Talent show. Tryouts for the talent show are Wednesday, May 24th (1:45-3:45) and Thursday, May 25th (2:45-3:45) in the gym. Students should bring any music they need for the tryout or be prepared to share what they will be doing for the show. All students who have handed in entries will get to perform in the show. At the same time, if a student has a change of heart and no longer wants to participate – that is ok too! The actual Talent Show is on June 9th.

Lost and Found out in the breezeway. Check it out! Take it home!
The quantity of lost and found items is stunning. Please have your students reclaim items they have lost throughout the year. If you are at Edgewood during pick up or drop off hours, please take a look yourself. Lost and Found items will be displayed out in the breezeway as often as possible while the weather is nice. All items that are still here at the end of the year will be donated.

Award-winning documentary about screen time coming to Edgewood!
On Thursday, June 8, the Edgewood PTA is showing Screenagers, a documentary about screens effects on brains and one mother’s struggle about getting her daughter a smart phone. Through surprising insights from authors and brain scientists solutions emerge on how we can empower kids to best navigate the digital world.
The event is at 6:30 p.m. in the Edgewood gym. Save the date for this special opportunity to view the film and hear from experts.
