No School Friday
Just a reminder that Friday is a grading day so school is not in session for students.

At Tuesday’s PTA meeting, teacher Rhian Arp gave us a great update about the students’ curriculum: 4th- and 5th-graders are creating probability games in math, finishing their pilgrim studies, learning about magnets and motors and finishing their greenhouses; 2nd graders are learning about chemistry, taking a field trip to BRING recycling and the county landfill and are sewing snowmen; and 3rd graders are studying rocks and minerals in their beginning geologist curriculum.

2nd graders in the garden
The School Garden Project is gearing up to get our second graders into Edgewood’s garden from February through June. Not only will the students be planting seeds and starts, but they will be learning about critter habitats, decomposition, pollinators and recyclers.
