JAN. 23, 2017 NEWS BLAST

Planning a super fun Fun Night!
Fun Night is Edgewood’s spring carnival-a time to celebrate our community with carnival games, raffles, a silent auction and food carts! As many of you already know, planning for Fun Night takes a lot of volunteers. Fun Night Coordinator Gayle Sawyer has set up two meetings for you to find out more about how to help at Fun Night-there are dozens of opportunities and many hands make light work!

The two meetings are:
* Tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. at McMenamins on E. 19th
* Friday, Jan. 27th at 8:35 a.m. (right after drop-off) in the Edgewood cafeteria
The content at both meetings will be the same, it is offered twice to accommodate varied schedules. These are informational, brainstorming meetings for anyone interested in helping out in any way with the event – from donating a bike, to decorating the gym. For more information, contact Gayle at gayle.lb.sawyer@gmail.com.

Friday night Movie Night at Edgewood!
Come enjoy a free movie at Edgwood this Friday, Jan. 27th at 6:15 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. The movies are ‘Storks’ and ‘Jungle Book.’ This is a PTA-sponsored event, so there is no staff supervision available and no drop-offs, please. Snacks can be brought or purchased at the event – cost of snacks ranges from .50-$1/item, cash only and they benefit the 5th-graders Outdoor School. Gym mats are available, feel free to bring blankets and pillows. If you bring camp chairs, please set up in the rear of the room. The movies are FREE, but please consider bringing food for Edgewood Village’s Snack Pack program. (See more information below).
