Want to help reduce class sizes?

A “smaller class size” tops the list of changes many parents would most like to see to their children’s 4J elementary school. It will take an organized community, working collectively and collaboratively, to turn this around and bring the momentum about for real change. There is a meeting on Monday, Feb. 8 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Camas Ridge Community School at 1150 E 29th Ave. This meeting is organized by Heath Sielicki of Camas Ridge.

Eat out and leave the dishes at home next week!

Edgewood’s next Dine-and-Donate event is for 2 days-Wednesday, Feb. 10th and Thursday, Feb. 11th at Bill and Tim’s BBQ,201 East 13th Avenue. Bill and Tim’s BBQ will donate 25 percent of Edgewood sales back to our school! Didn’t see your student bring home a flyer? Pick up one at the office or go to the event on the PTA Website Calendar and print one off at home: edgewoodpta.digitalpto.com.

Currently Seeking Family Donations for Fun Night!

The Fun Night and Silent Auction are less than 3 months away! The auction team is already hard at work securing great donations from local businesses. We are also looking for families who may be able to help this year.

Do you or someone close to you have a vacation rental, a gift card, a skill, a bottle of good wine, or other item that you would be generous enough to donate?

Please email Robin Detmer rdetmer@gmail.com with donations or questions. Thank you!

Box Tops Challenge

More than 8,488 Box Tops have been turned in so we are so close to our goal! Keep bringing in Box Tops and we will meet and perhaps even exceed our goal!  Please encourage your students to keep clipping.
